2. The most important functional difference between a single-layer account and a double-layer account

Internal: To breathe, the exhaled gas and heat emitted by the human body during sleep will condense into water droplets when cold, so that these water droplets should fall on the ground instead of falling on the sleeping bag.
Double-layer tents can do this very well:
The outer tent is waterproof and windproof, and the inner tent is breathable;
The heat emitted by the human body will pass through the inner tent, condense on the inner wall of the outer tent, and then slide along the inner wall of the outer tent to the gap between the outer tent and the inner tent, so that the sleeping bag will not get wet.
The single-layer tent has only one layer of fabric, and it is inevitable to take into account the functions of waterproof and breathable at the same time.
3. The use environment of the two
Single layer tent:
Summer camping activities such as park leisure and beach leisure, generally do not spend the night outdoors, and the price is relatively cheap;
Due to its light weight, it is also used for snow mountain climbing, but requires the use of high-tech functional fabrics and accessories, which are more expensive.
Double Tent:
It has a wide range of uses, and the three-season and four-season accounts are mostly double-layered structures, which are more cost-effective.
Tips: Use a windproof rope for the outer tent, and the structure is firm; the outer tent and the inner tent are completely separated, and the gap between them is about a fist, so as to maintain good air permeability.
